Image: £20m Man City star shows up in London with suitcase to show support against Arsenal

Manchester City star Ilkay Gundogan is out injured for the Premier League clash against Arsenal at the Emirates today.

The £20 million (Guardian) summer signing did however, turn up to offer his support.

Gundogan shared a picture of himself posing with a black suitcase across the road from the City bus alongside the caption: “Supporting the team in London! Who’s ready?!”

The Germany international of Turkish origin has not featured for City since picking up an injury in November.

Gundogan would have faced his fellow Germany international of Turkish origin Mesut Ozil had he been fit for the game.

City have the chance to move into third place in the league with a win against Arsenal.
