Indonesian sponsor ready to fund Man United star Ibrahimovic transfer to Turkey

Manchester United star Zlatan Ibrahimovic continues to be linked with a move to Besiktas in the Turkish press.

The sensational transfer rumour took another turn today as it emerged that an Indonesian firm are prepared to sponsor the transfer according to Fotospor.

Turkish newspaper Yeni Asir claimed yesterday that Ibrahimovic’s agent Mino Raiola offered his client to Besiktas.

Yeni Asir reported that Raiola held talks with Besiktas president Fikret Orman regarding the possibility of an end of season deal.

As we mentioned in our last report on this rumour the obvious stumbling block is that Besiktas would be unable to even come close to matching his current wages.

Besiktas are under the watch of Financial Fair Play and have practiced prudence in terms of contracts since the appointment of club president Fikret Orman.

The Black Eagles could in theory try to find a sponsor and if the unnamed Indonesian company mentioned in the Fotospor report were to foot the bill it would solve the financial problem.

Orman did recently reveal that the club are planning a pre-season summer trip to Indonesia however, there has been absolutely no talk from inside the club regarding Ibrahimovic.
