International Chelsea striker Loic Remy agent holds transfer talks with Turkish giants
France international Loic Remy could be on his way out of Chelsea this summer.
The experinced striker has found himself on the fridges of the Blues’ squad and has attracted the attention of Turkish giant’s Fenerbahce.
A source close to Fenerbahce has revealed to Turkish-Football that Remy’s agent Frederic Guerra arrived in Istanbul earlier this week for talks.
However, Remy is not at the top of Fenerbahce’s transfer shortlist this summer and there is concern regarding the France international’s fitness.
Fenerbahce are on the lookout for a new striker as they look to strengthen ahead of the upcomming season. The Yellow Canaries finished the league in third place and have missed out on UEFA Champions League football.
Remy made just eight apperances for Chelsea last season and failed to find the back of the net.
The 30-year-old has just one year remaining on his contract with the London based club. Remy made the move to Chelsea for £10 million (BBC) from Crystal Palace back in August 2014.
