Iranian giants Traktor Sazi have appointed Mustafa Denizli as manager on a five-year deal according to beIN Sports Turkey.
Denizli will manage in Iran for the third-time having previously took charge of Proozi FC and Pas Teheran.
He succeeds Belgian Georges Leekens who parted company with the Tabriz based side at the end of last Iranian Professional League (IPL) season.
The former Turkey national team manager will have the advantage of coaching in a region of Iran where Azerbaijani Turkish is widely spoken – the language of a mutually intelligible branch of Oghuz Turkish to the official language of Turkey.

Denizli has managed all three big Istanbul clubs Fenerbahce, Galatasaray and Besiktas, winning the league title with all three – the first and only Turkish coach to do so.
The 69-year-old will become Tractor Sazi’s second Turkish coach after Ertugrul Saglam who coached the Iranian team last year.
