İrfan Buz has ‘no hard feelings’ towards Gençlerbirliği President

Former Gençlerbirliği manager Irfan Buz has stated that he has no hard feelings towards the clubs President Ilhan Cavcav.

The 47-year-old manager spoke to Fanatik following the clubs decision to fire him this morning.

The Ankara based side have lost four games in a row and are without a win in six games. Gençlerbirliği sit in 12th place with 22 points in 20 games.

“The President too the initiative and decided to fire me. He hired me to the job and he has fired me from it,” Irfan told the Turkish newspaper Fanatik.

“I believe we were a little unlucky, we were better than our position in the table. 

“Fortunately we unearthed talents such as Irfan Kahveci and Berat Tosun, who were born in 94-95. 

“I enjoyed working at Gençlerbirliği, I have no hard feelings towards the President.”
