Former Liverpool defender and current Sky Sports pundit Jamie Carragher was full of praise for Leicester City defender Caglar Soyuncu following the 9-0 victory away to Southampton.
Carragher waxed lyrical about the Turkey international following the Foxes mauling of the Saints last Friday.
Soyuncu managed to stay alert throughout the game despite his side having a convincing lead which was perhaps best illustrated with his block to stop a James Ward-Prowse shot.
In fact, Carragher was so impressed with Soyuncu that he likened the defender to Barcelona and Spain national team legend Carlos Puyol.
Carragher said: “I just love that man. He makes me smile, Soyuncu: When I see him defend, the haircut. Bit of Carlos Puyol about him, isn’t there!?”

This is the second time the former Liverpool man has publically praised Soyuncu.
Carragher tweeted this about the powerful center-back back in September.
Love watching Soyuncu for Leicester!

Soyuncu has impressed in the Leicester defence since replacing Harry Maguire who was sold to Manchester United over the summer.
The 23-year-old has started every game this season for the Foxes and no other Premier League side has conceded fewer goals (8) than Leicester City this season.
