‘I would join’ – Olivier Giroud willing to join Euro giants after entering talks, Arsenal receive offer for star striker
Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud is reported to be keen on joining Besiktas according to reports in Turkey.
Haberturk reporter Kartal Yigit claims that Besiktas have made an offer for Giroud.
Per the source, the Black Eagles have entered initial talks and received a positive response from the France international.
The report claim Giroud as saying, ‘I would join’ the Turkish champions.
The powerful striker reportedly wants Cahmpions League football next season and is open to a summer exit.

Besiktas have won the league title for the past two seasons and have booked Champions League group stage football for the up coming campaign.
The Istanbul giants reached the Europa League quarter-finals this season, bowing out on penalties against Lyon.
Besiktas manager Senol Gunes is a keen admirer of Giroud but the report that state Arsene Wenger could be unwilling to let go of his star man.
The Eagles would have to offer in the region of €5 million per-season to cover Giroud’s wages – which would make him the highest paid member in the current squad.
Besiktas are also targeting moves for Porto striker Vincent Aboubakar – who was on loan at the club this season – and Andre Gignac.
The Super Lig champions have prioritised signing a striker over the summer as Demba Ba and Aboubakar will return to their parent clubs following the end of their loan deals.
Giroud does have another two-years remaining on his contract. The experienced striker scored 16 times and provided seven assists in all competitions this season.
