Jose Mourinho would leave Manchester United for Fenerbahce if Turkish business tycoon Ali Koç came calling according to former club president Ali Şen.
Koc is expected to take over as Fenerbahce president in the 2018, replacing Aziz Yildirim who has been in charge of the club for over a decade.
“If Ali Koç asked Mourinho to join he could not say no, who could refuse? he has the power to bring anyone to the club and it is not all about money,” Şen was quoted as saying by Turkish-Football.
“Koç is one of the most well connected men in Turkey, he operates internationally. And if you are saying it is all about the money well then he can bring in any couch.”
