Juventus back in talks with €25m Liverpool star Emre Can after Reds rejected summer bid
Serie A giants Juventus have stepped up their interest in Liverpool star midfielder Emre Can.
The 23-year-old is yet to commit to a new contract with Liverpool and could end up leaving the Reds for free next summer. Can has under nine months remaining on his current deal.
According to the Italian outlet Tuttosport, Juventus have established contact with Can’s representatives and have held early talks.
Per the source, Juventus have been courting the Germany international for months and want to sign him for free at the end of the season.
Liverpool rejected a €25 million bid from Juventus for Emre Can over the summer transfer window.

Can was dropped by manager Jurgen Klopp for Liverpool’s 3-0 win over Huddersfield in the Premier League.
The former Bayer Leverkusen man has however played a key role in Jurgen Klopp’s side so far this season.
Can will be free to discuss terms with any club across Europe after January 1 when he enters the last six months of his contract.
