Juventus has no intention of selling promising young forward Kenan Yildiz, despite receiving approaches from at least two Premier League clubs, including reported interest from Chelsea.
This update comes from transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, who stated on X.com that Juventus “have no plans at all to sell Kenan Yildiz” despite “big proposals.”
In his Youtube podcast Romano went onto name one of the clubs as being Chelsea.
Chelsea, actively bolstering their attacking options for their return to the Champions League, have already secured Jamie Gittens, Joao Pedro, and Liam Delap this summer. The London club is reportedly pursuing Dutch duo Jorrel Hato and Xavi Simons, both of whom are said to be keen on a move to Stamford Bridge.
The Blues aim to have a robust attacking rotation of at least eight to nine players next season. This aggressive recruitment comes as Noni Madueke has departed, and Christopher Nkunku and Joao Felix are expected to follow suit. The future of Nicolas Jackson also remains uncertain.
Chelsea has reportedly identified Xavi Simons as a primary target, and the 22-year-old is anticipated to join the club barring any significant obstacles. Any further attacking arrivals at Stamford Bridge are likely contingent on Jackson’s potential departure, which currently appears improbable.
Despite these ongoing developments, Yildiz had emerged as a player linked with Chelsea, with the versatile Juventus star capable of playing as both a left winger and a number ten. However, Romano’s latest update firmly shuts down any immediate prospects of the Turkish international leaving Turin.
