Fanatik report that Juventus also sent a club official to keep tabs on the Turkish international.
Per the source, initial talks were held and the Italian giants are preparing to launch an official bid.

The star striker scored the opening goal and could easily have had a few assists to his name
The 26-year-old provided more goal scoring opportunities (6) than any other player.
Tosun now has 11 goals and two assists in all competitions for the reigning Super Lig champions.
The Turkish international has established himself as a big match player, scoring four times and setting up two goals in the Champions League while also netting in the Istanbul derby.
Besiktas do not want to sell Tosun over the winter transfer window and have set a £30 million valuation to ward away interested parties.
The Eagles have however, made it clear that they will consider selling the striker for the right price at the end of the season.
