Fenerbahce has granted Ferdi Kadioglu permission to travel to England and discuss a potential transfer to Brighton & Hove Albion.
“Our player Ferdi Kadioglu will travel to England with permission from our club to advance transfer negotiations with Brighton & Hove Albion FC, one of the Premier League teams, and to undergo a medical check-up,” the Fenerbahce statement read.

The 24-year-old left-back has been a standout performer for Fenerbahce and has attracted interest from several Premier League clubs. Brighton, in particular, have been keen on securing his signature.
The Turkish club has given Kadioglu the green light to hold talks with Brighton and undergo a medical evaluation. If a deal can be agreed upon, Kadioglu could become Brighton’s latest signing this summer.
The transfer is expected to go ahead for £33.5m.
Kadioglu’s impressive performances at Euro 2024 have further enhanced his reputation, and his versatility and defensive abilities make him a valuable asset. Brighton are hoping to strengthen their left-back options and believe Kadioglu could be the ideal fit for their squad.
The 24-year-old left-back was a key player for Turkey during the tournament, helping his nation reach the round of 16 for the first time in 16 years.
Kadioglu’s defensive prowess and attacking abilities have made him a highly sought-after player.
His passing accuracy, both short and long, was exceptional at Euro 2024, placing him among the tournament’s top performers. Additionally, Kadioglu’s ability to create chances and win tackles has impressed scouts.
Kadioglu scored two goals and provided four assists in 44 matches across the Turkish league and Europa League last term.
