Karaman delighted with Rizespor beating Beşiktaş [divider]

Rizespor manager Hikmet Karaman admitted he was impressed with his sides performance against Beşiktaş, following their 1-0 win in the Turkish Cup.

“We got a very important three points and moved into first position in the group,” Karaman said speaking after the game.

“What really impressed we was the players on the fringes and the youngsters who had not really had a chance to prove themselves until this now. 

“These players their chance to prove themselves and shone, their performance was brilliant and I want to praise each and every one of them. 

“Their performance impressed me so much that it would not have even mattered if we lost. 

“Of course winning is much better, we are first in the group and I believe we deserve to be there.”

Rizespor are currently first in the Turkish Cup Group F with six points from two games.
