Kartal – ‘Fenerbahce are the strongest side in the league’ [divider]
Fenerbahçe manager İsmail Kartal believes his side are the strongest in the league and that they will finish 2014 as Süper Lig leaders.
“We are the strongest team in the league and therefore are aim is to finish first,” Kartal said speaking ahead of the Erciyesspor game.
“I do not have time for what so and so says, or the criticism, we give our response on the pitch.
“We want to finish 2014 as leaders and have a good chance to achieve that goal if we keep winning games.
“Galatasaray or Beşiktaş are going to drop points before the year is done as they are playing each other.
“If we win all our games we will achieve our goal, it is in our hands now and we must focus 100 percent on winning each game one by one starting with Erciyes.”
Fenerbahçe take on Erciyesspor in Kayseri today, the Istanbul giants have only won two games away from home this season.
