Turkish Super Lig club Kasimpasa have reportedly reached a preliminary agreement with Burnley striker Michael Obafemi, paving the way for a potential summer exit from Turf Moor.
According to Turkish journalist Salim Manav, the 25-year-old Ireland international is a target for the Istanbul-based club, which is now focused on finalizing a transfer fee with Burnley.

The move comes as the Clarets, who recently secured a return to the Premier League with a dominant 100-point Championship season, continue to reshape their squad for the top flight.
Obafemi’s role at Burnley was limited last season, where he made just 14 starts and scored two goals. His versatility, however, is a key factor in Kasimpasa’s interest, as the attacker is capable of playing in various positions across the forward line.
Burnley has already been active in the transfer market, securing new signings like Kyle Walker, Loum Tchaouna, and Quilindschy Hartman, while also making Marcus Edwards’ loan deal permanent.
The club has also seen some departures, with Dara Costelloe and Han-Noah Massengo leaving to bolster the team’s transfer funds. Obafemi’s potential departure would mark another step in the squad’s ongoing summer overhaul.
