Kayserispor have caused an upset in the Ziraat Turkish Cup by knocking Besiktas out in the round of 16.
Tasdemir scored the only goal of the game in the 39th minute from the penalty spot. Besiktas were unable to level the game despite bringing on the likes of Demba Ba on in the second half.
Kayserispor held onto their lead and secured their place in the quarter finals.
Top of the table Besiktas take on Bursaspor on the Turkish Super League on Saturday. Kayserispor who lead PTT 1. Lig take on Manisaspor this weekend.
