Khedira confirms Liverpool star Emre Can’s move to Juventus, according to reports

Liverpool team news

Liverpool star midfielder Emre Can will be making the move to Juventus in the summer according to Sports Illustrated and Fox Sports senior writer Grant Wahl.

The Germany international has been closely linked with a Merseyside exit after failing to put pen-to-paper on a new contract with the Reds.

Can has under three months left on his contract and is free to hold talks with foreign clubs.

Grant Wahl claims to have a source that has spoken with Can’s German international team-mate Sami Khedira. Per the source, “all signs are pointing to Can signing with Juventus despite interest from other top clubs.”

“My source recently spoke to Juve’s Sami Khedira, Can’s Germany teammate,” Grant Wahl wrote in his column.

“And Khedira said yes, it’s going to happen.”

Emre Can missed Liverpool’s empathic 3-0 win over Manchester City in the UEFA Champions League due to a back injury.

The 24-year-old is expected to feature in the return leg due to Jordan Henderson’s suspension.

Liverpool are back in action this weekend when they take on their bitter rivals Everton at Goodison Park.
