Jurgen Klopp facing injury crisis ahead of Galatasaray game [divider]

Borussia Dortmund manager Jurgen Klopp is facing an injury crisis ahead of the game against Galatasaray in the Champions League Group D.

Mat Hummels (foot), Nuri Şahin (knee), Sarr (shin) and Ji (knee) will not play tomorrow.

Schmelzer (match fitness), Kirch (match fitness), Błaszczykowski (match fitness) could all also miss the game as well.

Hummels became the latest player to join the extensive injury list.

The 25-year-old defender sustained an injury to his foot in the Bundesliga game against Bayern Munich which forced him to be substituted at half time.

“It doesn`t look good,” Klopp said.

“Mats limped past me in the dressing room with a bandage on his foot.

“He said he felt pain after jumping for the ball, we will know more after a scan.”

Galatasaray will be without the injured Aydın Yılmaz (foot) and Felipe Melo is a doubt Felipe Melo (thigh).

Cesare Prandelli controversially left summer signing Goran Pandev in Istanbul after a string of poor performances.

Wesley Sneijder is expected to start against Dortmund after being rested in the first half in Galatasaray’s 2-1 win over Kasımpaşa on Saturday.
