The UEFA Champions League quarter-final draw has pitted Premier League leaders Manchester City against Liverpool in an all-English affair.

Speaking to the press ahead of Reds league encounter with Watford on Saturday, Klopp revealed that it will not be Liverpool fans or City fans who are most happy with the draw.

No.

Instead Klopp joked that Manchester United fans will be most pleased with the fixture.

“I’ve said it before and it’s still the truth, it’s always common in a draw that you’ll get your neighbour, more or less, but to be honest I don’t mind, really,” he said.

“It is exactly like it was before – we take what we’ve got. Now it’s Manchester City, let’s go. We’ve lost once and we’ve won once against them in the league – and I don’t think they thought before the best draw they could have got is Liverpool.

“I think it’s an absolute dream draw… for all Manchester United fans!”

The tie will see two of the three remaining Turks left in the Champions League go head to head.

Liverpool star Emre Can will take on Manchester City ace Ilkay Gundogan.

Turkey international Cengiz Under meanwhile will represent Roma against Barcelona.

Can and Gundogan were born Turkish citizens despite being born in Germany. Both players represent Germany at international level but were eligible to play for Turkey as well.

Liverpool will have to take care of Watford at Anfield before making any further plans. The match will be the last game before the international break.

The Full Draw:

Barcelona v Roma
Sevilla v Bayern Munich
