Klopp suffers tripple injury blow as three star players are dropped from travelling squad ahead of Dublin trip

Liverpool face Athletic Bilbao in Dublin today as part of their pre-season campaign.

Reds boss Jurgen Klopp has taken a 23-man squad to Ireland for the friendly game but suffered a triply injury blow beforehand.

Klopp will be without captain Jordan Henderson who is ill, Philippe Coutinho is out with a sore back and Daniel Sturridge is sidelined with a thigh injury.

Midfielder of Turkish origin Emre Can has been included in the travelling squad and is expected to play.

Can featured in the Reds last three friendlies in the Audi Cup.

Mohamed Salah, Dejan Lovren and Albero Moren all return to the squad after being rested in the Audi Cup final against Aletico Madrid last week.

The Reds will be without Adam Lallana who is facing a couple of months out with a thigh injury according to the BBC.

The clash with the Spanish side at Aviva Stadium kicks off at 5.15pm BST,
