Lazio Plot Move For Chelsea Target Tipped To Be The ‘Next Cengiz Under’

Lazio have entered the race for Galatasaray youngster Yunus Akgun according to the Hurriyet newspaper.

Per the source, the Serie A outfit have been keeping close tabs on the young winger who broke into the first-team this season.

Lazio could face competition from Chelsea who are among several sides scouting the Galatasaray starlet according to Eren Sarigul of Turkish-Football who broke the story on ESPN in November.

The 18-year-old was one of three Galatasaray players born after the year 2000 to play first-team football this season, the other three being Ozan Kabak and Mustafa Kapi.

Akgun was promoted from the academy to the senior side this season but has just another two-years remaining on his current deal.

Akgun scored six times in 21 games for the U19 side last term and has one assist for the senior side this season.
