In an under-reported rant that took place over the weekend, Good Morning Britain presenter Piers Morgan took a swipe at Arsenal star Mesut Ozil.
The famous Gunners fan was furious following his side’s 2-1 defeat at the hands of Brighton on Sunday.
The defeat has left Arsenal’s hopes of a top-four finish in tatters meaning their only realistic route to playing Champions League football next season is to win the Europa League.
Morgan erupted on Twitter following the game and branded Mesut Ozil a “lazy git.” Morgan went onto state, “Ozil just gave the ball away & stood there like a ****ing stuffed lemon.”

The weekend defeat has piled more pressure on manager Arsene Wenger and his players.
Arsenal travels to Italy this week to take on Serie A giants AC Milan in the Europa League. The Rossoneri have been in impressive form since the appointment of Genaro Gattuso as manager and are unbeaten in their last 13 games.
The Gunners meanwhile have lost eight of their last 13 fixtures.
