Championship side Leeds United have joined the race to sign Kasimpasa star striker Mbaye Diagne.
We recently broke the story that Hull City, Bournemouth and Reading are interested in a move for the prolific striker.
Diagne only joined Kasimpasa from the Chinese Super League side TJ Teda but has already attracted the attention of clubs from abroad following an impressive six months with the Istanbul based side.
The Senegalese striker netted a total of 12 goals and provided two assists in just 17 appearances for Kasimpasa during the 2017/18 season.
A source close to the player has revealed to Turkish-Football that Leeds United are also in the race to sign the towering striker this summer.
Per the source, talks between Leeds United officials and the player’s representatives are already underway.
The 26-year-old striker has already travelled across the world during his playing career with spells at Juventus, Al Shabab, FC Ujpest and TJ Teda.
Kasimpasa are however unlikely to allow their star asset to leave on the cheap. Diagne has three-years remaining on his contract with the Istanbul based club.
The Dakar born striker is yet to make an appearance for the Senegal national team.
