Leeds United Ace In Talks With Turkish Giants Over Summer Move

Turkish Super Lig giants Trabzonspor have set their sight on Leeds United striker Caleb Ekuban.

According to the Turkish outlet Fotomac, the Black Sea Storm are already in talks with Leeds United over the 24-year-old.

Trabzonspor are keen on bolstering their attacking options before the transfer window in Turkey slams shut on September 1.

Ekuban made the move to Leeds from the Italian club Chievo back in the summer of 2017.

However, the Ghanaian striker has struggled to cement his place Leeds’ starting eleven, The 24-year-old scored just one goal in 20 Championship appearances last season.

The young striker appears to have fallen out of favour with the newly appointed Leeds manager Marcelo Bielsa. Ekuban is yet to make an appearance for the Peacocks this season.

Leeds registered a 3-0 win over Norwich City on Saturday and have moved into pole position in the Championship. Bielsa’s side take on Preston in the League cup tomorrow evening.
