Leeds will need to act quickly if they want to secure the player’s services in January but Galatasaray would prefer to sell the winger at the end of the season.

Leeds manager Daniel Farke is hoping to bring in new signings in January.

The Lions are in the middle of the title race and competing in the Europa League with Aktürkoğlu being a star in the team so losing him half way through the season would be a blow.

The winger is under contract until 2027 so Galatasaray are under no pressure to sell in January unless the price is right.

The 25-year-old has been in excellent form this season, scoring seven goals and assisting eight in 27 appearances in all competitions.

Aktürkoğlu is a versatile player who can play as either a winger or attacking midfielder. He is also a full international for Turkey, with five goals and two assists in 26 appearances.

The winger is expected to join Turkiye at Euro 2024 this summer and has five goals and 26 caps for his country.
