The loanee forward looked certain to break into the team after coming off the bench and finding the back of the net.

Ekuban has however, struggled for playing time since the Lions clash.

Since making his debut on September 1 he has played just 20 minutes of football, coming on as a substitute twice.

A source close to Trabzonspor revealed to Turkish-Football that the manager and coaching staff are happy with Ekuban but that he needs time to settle.

The player is reportedly in high spirits and has bonded well with his new teammates.

The club are confident the Ghana international’s time will come as the season progresses.
