Leeds United Loanee Speaks To Media Following Move To Trabzonspor

Leeds United striker Caleb Ekuban has revealed his thoughts regarding his move to Trabzonspor.

The 24-year-old striker made the move to the Black Sea Storm on a one-year loan deal.

Ekuban put pen-to-paper on Wednesday afternoon and was pictured in a Trabzonspor jersey.

During the contract signing ceremony, Ekuban spoke to the Turkish Media.

“I would like to thank Trabzonspor for bringing me here and for their interest,” Ekuban stated.

“I was really impressed by their history and past successes. I believe I have made the right choice and feel great.”

Ekuban could be back in action this weekend when Trabzonspor take on league leaders Galatasaray.

The Ghanaian striker made the move to Leeds United from Chievo last summer. However, Ekuban had fallen down the pecking order at Elland Road following the appointment of Marcelo Bielsa.

Leeds take on Middlesborough this weekend as they look to bounce back from Tuesday’s defeat to Preston in the League Cup.
