Kasimpasa star striker Mbaye Diagne has maintained interest from England despite failing to make a move during the summer transfer window.
Turkish-Football recently reported that Leeds, Bournemouth, Hull City all held talks with Diagne’s agent Ediz Balkan over the summer.
However, the 26-year-old ended up staying at Kasimpasa and has now scored seven goals in five games.
A source close to the Istanbul based club has revealed to Turkish-Football.com that Leeds United scouts have been monitoring Diagne this season.
Per the source, scouts from England are expected to be observing the striker this weekend when Kasimpasa host Alanyaspor in the Turkish Super Lig.
Diagne’s transfer to England hit a stumbling block due to a work permit issue. However, he has recently applied for an EU passport after spending several years in Italy.
The Senegalese striker’s representative Balkan is hopeful that the paperwork will be sorted in time for the January transfer window.
