Caleb Ekuban joined Trabzonspor on a season-long loan deal from Leeds United earlier this week.
The 24-year-old was unveiled during a contract signing ceremony on Wednesday and the Turkish club have now revealed that they do have the option to sign Ekuban next summer.
According to the Turkish outlet Milliyet, Trabzonspor have already agreed a £1.1 million option to but Ekuban.
Per the source, The Black Sea Storm have paid Leeds £175,000 to loan the 24-year-old striker for the year.
Ekuban’s contract with Leeds doesn’t expire until 2021 however, the striker fell down the pecking order following the appointment of Marcelo Bielsa.

The former Chievo man scored just one goal in 20 appearances for Leeds United last season. Ekuban has not featured for the Peacocks this season.
The 24-year-old could make his debut against Galatasaray this season. Leeds United meanwhile take on Middlesbrough in the Championship this season.
The Transfer Window in Turkey slams shut on September 1.
