Leeds United to face competition from Euro giants in race to sign 7-goal prolific striker

Turkish Super Lig giants Galatasaray have joined Leeds United in the race to sign the in-form striker Mbaye Diagne in January.

According to the daily Turkish newspaper Aksam, Galatasaray are lining up a bid for the Kasimpasa forward.

Per the source, Lions boss Fatih Teirm is a fan of the Senegalese star who has already netted seven goals in five games this season.

Turkish-Football recently reported that Leeds United scouts are monitoring the 26-year-old. The Peacocks were linked with a move for Diagne over the summer transfer window, however, the move never materialised due to work permit issues.

Leeds are back in action on Friday night when they take on Sheffield Wednesday.
