Leicester boss slams referee Mike Dean for letting Arsenal star get away with handball
Leicester City boss Craig Shakespeare has slammed referee Mike Dean for missing Mesut Ozil’s handball.
The Germany international appeared to handle the ball during the build to Aaron Ramsey’s late equaliser.
Arsenal recorded a 4-3 victory in the thrilling 2017-18 Premier League opener on Friday night.
Leicester looked set to cause an upset going into the last ten minutes however, a late surge from Arsenal saw them grab all three points at the Emirates.

Shakespeare stated that he was ‘disappointed’ with referee Mike Dean for missing Ozil’s blatant handball.
“Disappointed the referee didn’t give it because he had a great view but then we have to defend the corner given,” Shakespeare was quoted as saying by the Independent.
“You would like him to give that but once he gives it we have to defend the second phase better.
“You need to be aware of your man and we clearly didn’t defend that as well as what we can do.”
Ozil was one of the stars of the show on the night, the 28-year-old played a key role in the majority of the Gunners goals.
The Germany international’s Arsenal future does however remain in doubt. Ozil has under 12-months remaining on his contract with Arsenal.
