Leicester City Ace Caglar Soyuncu One Of Nine Turkey Players Left Out Of Final Euro 2020 Group H Qualifier Against Andorra

Turkey will take on Andorra in their final Euro 2020 Group H qualifier on Sunday at the Estadi Nacional stadium.

The Crescent-Stars have already booked a place at Euro 2020 after holding Iceland to a 1-1 draw in Istanbul on Thursday.

Turkey do however, still have the chance to top the group should they beat Andorra today and if France drop points against Albania.

Head coach Senol Gunes has decided to rest several players including Leicester City defender Caglar Soyuncu who has been dropped form the squad.

Soyuncu started in defence alongside Juventus centre-back Merih Demiral against Iceland putting on an impressive display helping Turkey keep their seventh clean sheet in nine group games.

Turkey have conceded just three goals in total in Group H.

Gunes has also left out Burak Yılmaz, Cengiz Ünder, Cenk Tosun, Çağlar Söyüncü, Efecan Karaca, İrfan Can Kahveci, Mahmut Tekdemir and Mert Günok from the squad.

Schalke younngster Ahmed Kutucu, Berkay Özcan, Güven Yalçın and Sassuolo 20-year-old Mert Müldür have been promoted from the U21 side to the senior team and are expected to get their first caps tonight.
