Leicester City Squad To Face Arsenal Revealed – £19m Summer Signing Selected

Leicester City take on Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium hoping to put an end to the Gunners nine game win streak.

The Foxes will be without captain Wes Morgan who is out suspended after receiving his second red card in three games.

Head coach Claude Puel will also be without Matty James (Achilles) and Demarai Gray (ankle).

Meanwhile, Ben Chilwell, Harry Maguire and James Maddison have returned from international duty fit and make the squad.

The big story as far as we are concerned is that Caglar Soyuncu has made the squad.

This follows Puel revealed that the young defender is now ready to play for Leicester.

Puel said: “I think he is ready. He has to compete with experienced players.

“He’s a young player, but a young player with a lot of attributes.”

The 22-year-old joined the Foxes on a £22m move over the summer but has yet to make his debut.

Soyuncu has managed to remain match fit as he kept his place in the Turkey national team where he has started the last 15 successive games.

The powerful centre-back is likely to make the match day squad with Morgan out suspended but faces competition from Evans and Maguire.
