Turkey beat Albania 1-0 at the Sukru Saracoglu in the Euro 2020 qualification Group H Match Day 7 clash on Friday.

The Crescent-Stars kept their sixth clean in the group in the process.

Turkey have managed to shutout Albania home and away as well as world champions France.

The Turkish national side have conceded just two goals in the group and both were against Iceland, the sole side to defeat the Red-Whites this campaign.

Soyuncu did not start against Albania, he came on at half-time for the injured Kaan Ayhan.

The 22-year-old defender has been in impressive form for the Foxes in the Premier League this season but the Turkey national team has a lot of depth in defence.

Soyuncu has started all eight games for Leicester in the league this term.

Juventus centre-back, 21-year-old Merih Demiral also started at the back with 19-year-old Ozan Kabak on the bench.

Turkey take on France next at Stade de France in Saint-Denis. With Ayhan out Soyuncu is likely to start alongside Demiral as the centre-back pairing.

A draw against the French would pretty much all but guarantee Turkey qualification for Euro 2020.
