Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp faced a tough decision over whether to pick Gini Wijnaldum or Emre Can in central midfield going into the clash.
Klopp’s decision was made easier following the injury of Jordan Henderson. The German manager has decided to pick both Wijnaldum and Can in the midfield.
Can has come under fire from sections of the press and fans for his recent form but he has played the fourth highest number of games in the Liverpool squad this season (27).
Klopp faced another dilemma in defence following the injury of Dejan Lovren. Brazilian defensive midfielder Lucas Leiva has been given the nod in his place.
The Foxes have lost their last five consecutive league matches and have failed to score in their last six league matches.
Meanwhile Liverpool are well rested for the Leicester clash having had two weeks to prepare for tonight’s game.
