Leicester City want Schalke 04 defender Ozan Kabak according to the Daily Mail.
Per the source, the Foxes want a new centre-back and Kabak is among their targets.
Kabak could partner with fellow Turkey international Caglar Soyuncu if he were to make the move.
The 20-year-old defender was closely linked with Liverpool last month.
Bild reported that the Reds and Schalke have been in contact over a potential transfer deal.
The Reds are reportedly keen on the young centre-back who is valued at £35m.
Kabak himself is a fan of Reds defender Virgil van Dijk and has made a name for himself in the Bundesliga after an impressive season.
The Foxes also signed Soyuncu from the Bundesliga.
Leicester paid Freiburg £20m [Transfermarkt] for Soyuncu in 2018.
The defender spent most of his first season on the bench but filled in for Harry Maguire last season and established himself as a key player.
Soyuncu and Kabak are teammates in the Turkey national team setup and both featured in the back-four which qualified for Euro 2020 conceding just three goals in 10 games in a group including world champions France.
Kabak was signed by Schalke on a £13.5m move from Stuttgart last July.
The defender scored three goals and provided one assist in 26 league games last term.
