Lille star Yusuf Yazici was selected for the L’Équipe Ligue 1 Team of the Week following his impressive display in the 3-0 victory over Bordeaux.

Yazici provided two assists and scored for the French side in their convincing win on Saturday.

L’Équipe awarded Yazici a score of 8 from a possible 10 and was the sole Lille player who made the starting team.

Yazici now has one goal and three assists in his last two league games for Lille.

The Turkey international joined the French side from Trabzonspor over the summer and looks to have finally adapted into Ligue 1 football following his settling in period.

Yazici plays alongside fellow Turkey international star Mehmet Zeki Celik at Lille.

Last seasons runners-up are currently 3rd in the league table just a single point behind second-placed Nantes and nine points behind leaders PSG.

Lille face a tricky test away to Marseille next on 2 November 2019 before traveling to Spain to take on Valencia in the Champions League.
