Liverpool Ace Could Make Debut For New Club At Famous Green Crocodile Stadium

Liverpool goalkeeper Loris Karius completed his loan move to Turkish Super Lig giants Besiktas on Saturday evening.

The 26-year-old will spend two-seasons with the Istanbul based club. Besiktas have agreed to pay Liverpool £2.5 million for the loan deal.

The deal will be made permanent for a further £7 million if Karius players over 50 percent of the games during his loan period. Besiktas will also need to qualify for the UEFA Champions League.

Karius is unlikely to be ready for Besiktas’ clash with Antalyaspor this weekend.

The former Germany U21 international also hasn’t been registered for the Black Eagles Europa League squad and won’t play against Partizan Belgrade.

Karius is, however, likely to be ready for Besiktas’ trip to Bursaspor next weekend. Bursaspor plays at the famous Crocodile Arena pictured below.

Liverpool registered a 1-0 win over Brighton in the Premier League today. The Reds take on Leicester City next weekend.

Karius made a total of 33 appearances for the Reds last season.
