Liverpool Boost As Roma Boss Admits Team Is Struggling

Roma take on Liverpool in the Champions League semi-final first leg tie at Anfield on Tuesday.

Roma manager Eusebio Di Francesco has revealed that his side is struggling with the heavy match traffic.

“You always need balance, something will certainly be lacking because the players have had three matches in just six days – you can’t keep that up. We’ll do all we can to get three points and I don’t want to give Leonardo Semplici any advantage ahead of Saturday,” Di Francesco said after the game.

The Roma boss is expected to make changes against SPAL on the weekend but cannot afford to totally ignore the game as a top-four spot is not yet guaranteed.

The Rome based outfit passed their first test beating Genoa 2-1 on Wednesday.
