Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp handed major injury boost ahead of Real Madrid final clash

Liverpool star midfielder Emre Can could make a shock return to the Reds squad in time for the UEFA Champions League final against Real Madrid.

The final takes place on Saturday, May 26 and will be played at the NSC Olimpiyskiy Stadium in Kiev.

Can hasn’t featured for Liverpool since picking up a back injury in March and could end up leaving the club for free when his contract expires in the summer.

Liverpool released a report on their official website confirming that Emre Can has been included in the travelling party for this week’s training camp in Marbella.

The Reds flew out to Spain this morning for a four-day stay on the Andalusian coast to continue their preparations for the Champions League final.

Per the source, Can’s fitness will be closely monitored by Liverpool’s medical staff to determine whether he can rejoin full training with the rest of the squad.
