Liverpool boss knows central midfield is 'best position' for Emre Can

Liverpool start Emre Can stated that he believes Brendan Rodgers will play him in central-midfield next season.

Can coped well with being played out of position in defence last season and showed great versatility in adapting to a centre-back and full-back role.

“It can be a disadvantage, but it can help a young player as well,” Can was quoted as saying by 11Freunde.

“I want to play as much as possible.

“At the moment I am content, but I’ll be playing my best position soon, which is central midfield. The coach knows about it and sees it the same way I do.”
