Liverpool can ‘cement’ a top four finish if they win, says Paul Merson
SkySports pundit Paul Merson has stated that Liverpool can ‘cement‘ their place in the top-four if they win tomorrow.
The Reds host Bournemouth at Anfield on Wednesday, kick-off is scheduled for 20:00 (GMT).
However, Merson believes it won’t be an easy game for Jurgen Klopp’s side as they have struggled against the lesser teams at home.

“Liverpool struggle against the lesser teams at home, but if they can win this, back-to-back wins, they’ll cement their place in the top four,” Paul Merson told SkySports.
“Philippe Coutinho is back in form, and he looked superb on Saturday against Everton.
“He’s the key to them against these sides near the bottom of the table.”
Liverpool find themselves in third place with 59 points after 30 games. The Merseyside based club are six points clear of fifth placed Man United however, the Red Devil’s have two games in hand.
Germany international Emre Can is available for selection this week. The 23-year-old put yet another impressive display during Liverpool’s 3-1 win over Everton.
Can has three assists and four goals to his name after 32 apperances for Liverpool this season.
Jurgen Klopp will be unable to call upon Adam Lallana who suffered an injury during international duty with England.
