Liverpool officials are set to travel to Turkey for talks with Besiktas over the transfer of Domagoj Vida according to the Milliyet newspaper.
Per the source, the Black Eagles have received offers for the Croatia international.
West Ham made a £19.7m [€22m] bid which was snubbed.
Additionally, Besiktas turned down an approach from Everton which did not match their valuation.
The Super Lig outfit are reportedly demanding £26.8m for the 29-year-old defender.
Liverpool officials are expected to travel to Istanbul over the next few days for negotiations.
Besiktas want at least half of the transfer fee for Vida upfront to reinvest in replacements.
Vida is currently on holiday and it not expected back for at least another week.
Besiktas president Fikret Orman has confirmed offers for the defender but would not reveal the names of the clubs or the details of the bids.

Speaking in Austria at the Besiktas training camp Orman said, “We signed Vida for free, he’s now played a World Cup final and obviously it has resulted in a lot of interest.
“There are lots of offers for him but that does not mean we will definitely sell him.
“It would be wrong of me to reveal how much has been offered but if Vida wants to leave we will consider the best offer.”
