Liverpool are set to hold further talks with Emre Can as they look to put an end to contract stand-off, according to the Liverpool Echo.
The 22-year-old’s future at the club has been called into doubt as Can has under 18-months remaining on his current deal.
The Echo states that Reds boss Jurgen Klopp is keen to keep the box-to-box midfielder at the club.
The report goes onto say that negotiations between Emre Can and Liverpool broke down due to the Germany international’s contract demands. Per the source, Can is holding out for an offer in the region of £100,000 per-week.

However, the Reds are uncomfortable with matching the midfielder’s demands following an inconsistent season. Can produced one of his best performances of the season during Saturday’s win over Arsenal.
Emre Can has provided three assists and three goals in 29 apperances for the Merseyside club this season.
Liverpool host Burnley at Anfield this weekend in the Premier League.
