Liverpool Demand £27m For Forward Amid Reports That He Is Open To An Anfield Exit After Talks With Super Lig Side

Liverpool are planning to raise £100 million from sales after splashing out £170 million in the transfer market according to the Echo.

Per the source, one of the names that have been transfer listed is Divock Origi.

The Reds reportedly want £27m million for the Belgium forward.

The Premier League outfit are open to offers for Origi who struggled on loan at Bundesliga outfit last season.

The latest development will come as a boost for Fenerbahce who have held talks with the 23-year-old’s agent according to Fotomac.

The Turkish sports paper reported on July 12th that a meeting was setup in Istanbul by Fenerbahce basketball coach Zeljko Obradovic.

Obradovic’s agent Alex Raskovic visited Istanbul recently with his partner Rob Segal, who was introduced to Fenerbahce sporting director Damien Comolli.

Talks were held and Comolli put forward a loan proposal, the sporting director was reportedly told ‘it’s possible’.

The problem is Liverpool want to sell Origi not loan him and the Echo does report that Valencia are keen to secure his services.

Fenerbahce would not be able to match the asking price but are prepared to wait late into the transfer window should Liverpool fail to find a buyer and push for a loan deal that would cover his wages and include a fee.
