Liverpool demand £30m from Serie A giants for star man, defender could be latest player to join Cengiz Under
Roma have made an approach for Liverpool defender Mamadou Sakho according to the Sun.
Per the source, the Reds have informed the Serie A outfit that the France international is available for £30 million.
The Italian giants have yet to reveal whether they are prepared to match Liverpool’s valuation.
The report does claim that Crystal Palace are also in the race after his loan spell at the club last season.

Sakho would be joining a new look Roma side if he were to join.
The Rome based side have made several transfers already this season including highly rated winger Cengiz Under.
The 20-year-old left Basaksehir for a record £11.4m [Transfermarkt] fee – involving a Turkish international leading the Super Lig.
Roma and Liverpool have already done some business this window.
The Reds signed Mohamed Salah for a club record £35m transfer fee earlier in the summer.
Under was brought in as Salah’s replacement and scored on his debut in the International Championship Cup against Tottenham.
Roma have strengthened their defence this summer signing Rick Karsdorp on an £11.9m move from Feyenoord, Bruno Perez from Torino on a £10.6m transfer, Juan Jesus from Inter for £6.9m, Koarov for a £4.25m fee from Manchester City and Tottenham’s Fazio for £2.72 million.
