Liverpool draw Bundesliga side in Champions League playoff draw
Liverpool have drawn Bundesliga outfit Hoffenheim in the Champions League playoff draw.
Jurgen Klopp returns to Germany as does former Hoffenheim forward Roberto Firmino.
Hoffenheim will play at home in the first leg, as England Germany’s fourth-placed teams go head to head.
The first legs will be played on 15/16 August, with the returns taking place on 22/23 August.

The Champions League group draw will take place on Thursday 24 August.
Whichever side drops out at the playoff stage will enter the Europa League draw on Friday 25 August.
The Reds were drawn in the league route along with Basaksehir, Sevilla, Young Boys, CSKA Moscow, Napoli, Nice, Hoffenheim, Liverpool, Sporting, FCSB.
Premier League sides have a 100 percent record in the UEFA Champions League play-offs.
