Liverpool & Everton Make Offer For £88m-Rated Barcelona Star, Bad News For Super Lig Giants

Barcelona have received two offers for Yerry Mina after his impressive World Cup campaign for Colombia.

Goal report that Barca have received an offer from Everton and their Merseyside rivals Liverpool.

Per the source, there has been interest from other Premier League sides including Chelsea but no other offers have been made.

The report also claims that Fenerbahce are no longer in the race for the 23-year-old as they are unable to compete with the transfer fee the Reds and Toffees are prepared to pay.

Everton have reportedly made a €24 million bid.

Further talks are expected to be held over the next few days.

Barca recently announced the transfer of Arthur Melo from Gremio over the summer and his arrival could mean that Mina has to make way.

Barcelona would have too many non-EU players in their squad and would have to sell or loan one out.

Mina does have an £88m release clause but Barcelona would be unlikely to receive an offer matching the fee.

The Colombia international joined Barca from Palmeiras in January but made just five appearances.

Mina made a name for himself in Russia this summer, becoming the first defender to score in his first three World Cup games.
