Liverpool face Serie A competition for Dortmund star target, Bundesliga giants demand £18m

Serie A giants Fiorentina have joined the race to sign Borussia Dortmund wonder-kid Emre Mor.

According to the Italian outlet Sport Italia, Viola have set aside £10.5m [€12 million] for the Turkey international. Per the source, talks between Fiorentina and Dortmund are on-going.

Mor made the move to the Bundesliga side from the Danish side FC Nordsjaelland for £8.3 million. However, the 20-year-old failed to cement a place the squad under Thomas Tuchel.

Meanwhile, the Turkish outlet Fanatik claim that Liverpool are also interested in Mor.

Per the source, Dortmund are aware of the Reds interest and are demanding £18 million for star winger.

The young star’s agent Muzzi Ozcan recently told Turkish-Football.com that there have already been 14 offers for his client this summer.

“Fourteen offers have been made for Emre Mor but Borussia Dortmund have yet to respond to any of the bids,” Ozcan told Turkish-Football.

“It is not clear yet what will happen, he could even leave on loan or stay at Dortmund.”

The 20-year-old made just 12 league appearances for Dortmund last season.

Despite struggling for playing time at the Bundesliga giants, Mor has established himself as a regular call-up for the Turkish national team.

Mor represented Turkey at the 2016 European Championships in France last year and has already made 12 appearances for the Turkey national team.
