Liverpool fans react to £10m Emre Can contract stand off
Germany international midfielder Emre Can’s Liverpool future has been cast in doubt following a contract stand-off.
Can has under 18 months remaining on his contract with the Reds and has stalled on a contract offered in December.
According to the Liverpool Echo, Can is holding out for a mega £100,000 per week wage however, he has refuted the claims.
Can told the Echo that he will discuss a new contract once he has decided on his future.
Meanwhile, Calciomercato has linked the Germany international with a move to Serie A giants Juventus.
The former Bayer Leverkusen has struggled for consistency this season but was the star of the show during Liverpool’s 2-1 win over Burnley on Sunday.
Can scored his fourth goal of the season however, he is yet to convince all Liverpool fans.
Fan oppinion on whether Can deserves a bumper new deal appears to be split.

Can has started the last three league games for Liverpool and is likely to keep his place in the side if captain Jordan Henderson fails to make a full recovery before the Manchester City clash over the weekend.
He was awful in the first half against Burnley and has been awful in most matches. There is no way he is worth 100k a week. Invest the money in a decent player, I say!
